Malaysian Babywearers at the Mom & Baby Expo

At the Mom & Baby Expo on May 7, I hosted a "babywearing show" and short talk along with the gorgeous moms and babies of Malaysian Babywearers. Here are videos from that day!

I would like to thank all the mamas who took the time to come so early on a Saturday to help model and demonstrate the different carriers. I had a blast, as usual, and thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the babywearing parents walking around the expo! Definitely makes all the hard work we have put into the organization worthwhile :D I can't tell you how happy it makes me feel to see babywearing enter "mainstream" parenting circles.

P.S: If you're interested in having me conduct a babywearing talk and demonstration for your event or organization, feel free to contact me ;)

  1. GLAM MAMA, U SO CUTE LAAAAAAA..kat umah baru boleh open tau... itu pun putus2

  2. Hello

I wonder how did you get to be on stage during the expo? I thought the stage performances are for exhibitors only? And the exhibitors have to pay to be on stage. Definitely not for random group to perform.

  3. Hi Stacey! Not sure if you'll be notified of this comment, but here's my response:

A vendor was kind enough to give us their slot to do the babywearing show :) Malaysian Babywearers is an NGO that has been very lucky to get support from local vendors when it comes to opportunities to spread our message about the benefits of babywearing. We have existed since 2008 and have many active members who organize get-togethers, host babywearing talks, and from time-to-time, participate in national expos such as this. Seeing as how we are all working on a volunteer basis for MBW in addition to full-time work and being mothers, I think we are much more than just a "random group" :) Please go to for more information. Thanks!

  4. A vendor gave their paid slot for free? Wow! And you don't even have to mention their company name as a way of saying thanks at least?

May I know who are they? I was looking into someone who could offer their slot for non exhibitors to perform. As a courtesy, I would definitely give them a credit and lotsa traffic and business from our long list of members!

  5. Your Ligue Magnus can be France's professional ice baseball league. There are many of Canadian given birth to players inside league but nearly everyone is from your french conversing province involving Quebec. To the 2009-10 time, five alumni in the Ontario Baseball League played inside Ligue Magnus.
