I attended the Be Skin Confident workshop by Bio-Oil back in June (if you follow me on Instagram, you'd already know that ;p), but am only just blogging about it now because I really wanted to see if it worked first. Breaking news: it works!
Now, I used it on areas that I have never shown to the general public (LOL) so I'm not including pictures here. Just take my word for it, it really worked for me. BUT I have to say this: it worked better on my dark spots and scars than it did my stretch marks. I don't know why that is, but after about 1.5months of daily use, that is what it did for me. I would never promote anything that I didn't actually use and love, so believe me when I say this product is a freakin miracle!
So how does Bio-Oil work? Bio-Oil is formulated with a blend of Vitamins A & E, natural plant oils including Lavendar, Calendula, Rosemary, and Chamomile. Its breakthrough ingredient, PurCellin Oil, helps these active ingredients penetrate deep into the skin without leaving a greasy touch (this is 100% accurate - the oil is absorbed SO quickly it's almost unbelievable! I mean, you know its oil, but because it doesn't leave any residue on your skin, it's almost weird to call it oil).
You can use it from head to toe, which is kind of what I did. I even used it on my face a couple of times, just to see what happens. What I noticed was that my skin looked a lot brighter the next day. That being said, I'm not a fan of putting oil on my face, so I don't think I'll make it a habit.
As I said before, after using Bio-Oil for a month and a half, I can honestly see dark spots getting much lighter, and scars fading. But Bio-Oil can be used to help with a lot of other things as well: stretch marks, dry skin, insect bite marks, sunburns, and also ageing skin.

SERIOUSLY! I legit use Bio-Oil like a serum for the skin on my body every night, just like I put serums on my face every night. It's just as effective, except that it is way cheaper than even the cheapest serum out there.
