One month to go!!! And an announcement...

Holy moly! Just one month left till my wedding (less, actually...but one month sounds more grand, hahaha).

Just like all control freaks completely normal brides, I am freaking out whilst confirming people's RSVPs, and calling up vendors to check on this and that, and kicking my own butt at the gym because that's the only thing that keeps me sane.

Seriously though, I am actually quite excited to get this thing on the road! We'll have friends and relatives coming in from all over the world, with most of them coming up from Down Under, of course ;)

When I think about how these wonderful people are actually making that journey just to celebrate Daniel and I...well, it's really overwhelming and it makes me want to cry. I feel quite blessed to have them in my life!

I am doubly thankful for them when I realize that they will be a major part of my life in the near future, because...

I am moving to Australia.

There. Announced.

People who know me personally will likely already know about the move. Aqil, Afraz, and I, will be joining Daniel in Melbourne around the middle of this year, and as far as we can tell, it will be a permanent move (although with my wanderlust, don't be surprised if we make like nomads and just trek across the world on the back of camels. Seriously, if I can make that happen, I will, so don't be surprised.)

I'm super excited for this move for so many reasons, but of course a part of me will miss Malaysia a huge amount. I'll miss the people, the food, the food, and...the food. But mostly the people ;)

This isn't the first time I've left home, but this is the first time I've left home knowing I most likely won't be back for a long, long while. I mean, I'll be home a lot for holidays and stuff...but who knows if and when I'll ever move back? (Cannot think about this too much, I cry).

The two people I'll miss the most are the two people who probably will remember me the least (ok that's it, totally sobbing now). My nephew and niece - Adli and 'Aisyah. I do plan, however, on completely spoiling them with gifts and lots of Facetime dance parties (this is my thing).

I try not to dwell too much on what I'm leaving behind. It's a lot more fun to think about what I can look forward to! Apart from the bipolar weather, Melbourne's been great to me every time I've been there. Great people, great food, excellent public transport and very little traffic - I LOVE IT PLEASE.

Anyway, the move won't happen for a few more months. So, for those who want to see me soon and say goodbye, you'll have plenty of time :)

*A post without any photos is incredibly boring, isn't it? I apologize!
